We will once again participate in a Baby Bottle Collection which will benefit “Legacy of Life”. Previously, we would use actual baby bottles to collect money, however the collection has been modified and simplified. During this weekend, October 7th and 8th, speakers will join us at each Mass to give information regarding this important organization, and envelopes will be distributed. Those envelopes can be filled and returned in time for next weekend, October 14th and 15th, when members of the Knights of Columbus will join us after Masses to assist in the collection. These funds will be counted by our Parish Counting Team, processed, and a single check will be sent from our Parish. You can include either cash or a check payable to “St. Vincent de Paul Parish” in these envelopes. Please write “Baby Bottle Collection” in the memo line if you write a check. Legacy of Life Foundation funds three crisis pregnancy centers in Bristol, Philadelphia and Warminster. All of our services are completely free to mothers facing a crisis. We do pregnancy tests, counseling and ultrasounds. Once women choose life, they are welcomed into our loving parenting program for up to three years after birth to be part of a community of women who have been through similar tough life situations. Over 30% of the women who have come through to choose life, have joined that parenting program. Last year 311 lives were saved and to date, over 3,500 lives since we got started 12 years ago! Amazing work to save lives!
